Particular areas of expertise: Cruising

Biography: I sailed on one of the last voyages in 1975 from Auckland to Southampton and commenced working in travel, learning the trade firstly as an assistant to a consultant with Rankin Kuhn and their “rich and famous” clientele. Next, with the infamous Pan Pacific Travel Company and then over the five years that followed I travelled and worked in Europe, eventually returning to Christchurch to re-learn the New Zealand travel industry.  Cruising and water sports remain my passion. Visiting the Queen Mary in Auckland and again in Sydney with the QEII remain as career highlights for me.  To date I have taken 20 cruises around the waters of Europe, Australia, Tahiti, New Zealand, USA and Asia.  Many people have assisted my travel passion, but predominantly it's my clients and their desires to experience, explore and celebrate that are my drivers.  I still love selling dreams and travel and working alongside those suppliers who make it happen.

Biography: I have been fortunate to have travelled to many parts of the world.  Some of my special experiences include Nepal, observing the wildlife of Africa, skiing in Austria, sailing on the Nile and villa stays in Tuscany.  I specialise in leisure travel and with over 20 years travel industry experience, combined with my extensive personal travel, I have a wealth of knowledge to assist in providing the best travel arrangements for your next holiday.  I am committed to providing my valued clients with professional, confidential and friendly advice along with my personal recommendations to make your next holiday very special.

Biography: I started in the Travel Industry in 1994 after doing my training at Christchurch Polytechnic. After two and a half years specialising in leisure travel I moved to corporate travel where I remained until 2000. Over the last 10 years I have held positions at two corporate travel agencies. I now love working at World Travellers Christchurch City, where I have been since 2009. I am enjoying the challenge of combining my knowledge of corporate travel, marketing and leisure travel.  The latest destinations I have explored include Singapore, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast Australia.

Biography:  My passion for travel began 45 years ago and has continued uninterrupted until this day.  Having travelled extensively during this time there are still many destinations on my “bucket list”.  Meeting people, sharing and making their dream holiday a reality is what I still enjoy most of all.  With my expertise in leisure, corporate and group travel, I like to personalise my valued clients' travel arrangements so that a trustworthy, honest relationship can be built.  Weddings in the Pacific are also an area I love to be involved in, having arranged some very special events in both Fiji and Rarotonga. Personally, I continue to enjoy the warmth of Fiji and Tahiti for a relaxing holiday because you can be there within 4 hours and you are immediately in another world.

Having had an interesting travel path of 22 years and a 12 year career in the travel industry I remain excited by the prospect of bringing an extensive knowledge to the table when educating and assisting on all of your travel arrangements. My aim is to bring you an ongoing variety of destination, including the latest specials to places near and far around the world. I am committed to providing quality service, quickly, efficiently and to suit all budgets.  
Although I can assist in all forms of travel my passion remains adventure tourism.  African Jet boat touring, South American hiking, Mediterranean cycling, yachting the Greek islands.  Having traveled the globe by all of these modes and more I find it exciting advising on them however every trip is a unique experience and one I love to assist in making memorable.  My expectation is to exceed yours. 

Biography: My wife and I have owned retail travel centres in NZ since 2001. Our first store was opened in Queenstown and then we opened a new store in Christchurch in 2007. We employ 25 staff across the two offices plus a further 2 staff in our online Inbound Company South Pacific Travellers World Ltd, based in Harewood Christchurch. I am an Associate Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management and hold Directorships in SME businesses in NZ. Play golf, (18hcp) cycle and read a lot.
