World Travellers Christchurch City is jointly owned by Tourism Development Ltd and Guthrey Holdings Ltd, both well established Christchurch based family companies with a passion for travel and honest trading. We have five permanent senior travel consultants in store, all of whom are very experienced and well qualified in their areas of skill. In
addition to that we have five travel brokers who work remotely and again are very experienced and widely travelled.

We thrive on finding solutions to any worldwide travel challenge, be it a complex round the world business itinerary, or a unique, experiential getaway to a remote dive site. We also specialise in particular types of travel and destinations, based on the depth of experience of our staff. These include:

· Weddings in the Fiji islands
· Corporate travel for senior executives of large corporations
· Adventure travel to Europe and the Middle East
· Leisure travel to Bali, North East Asia, UK, Europe, South Pacific and the East and West coasts of Australia.

We also handle sports groups including golf, jet boat safaris, steam train excursions, pipe band competitions and school groups. No matter what your area of interest is, we have the expertise to manage and deliver exceptional group itineraries around the world.

World Travellers Christchurch City is a member of the New Zealand Cooperatives Association, The Canterbury Manufacturers and Exporters Association and the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM). Our Managing Director, Larry Lumsden, is an Associate Fellow of the NZIM. We are also members of TAANZ (Travel Agents Association of New Zealand) and IATA (International Air Transport Association) giving you the assurance that we have the support of, and meet the stringent criteria of the world’s leading travel regulatory bodies.
